J&A provides professional services state-wide in the areas of Construction, Engineering, and Inspection throughout all phases of construction and is proud to offer an expertise in the fields of applicable federal, state and local specifications, codes, and procedures, as well as the appropriate licensures, certifications, and training.

  • Accurate land surveying is the cornerstone of any successful project.

    Our abilities include extensive experience using GPS and ground-based radar imaging systems to produce accurate information. Johnson & Associates is proud to have been awarded an agreement with the ALDOT for Surveying Services Statewide, as well as Transportation Support Services Statewide, and Construction Engineering and Inspection (CE&I) Services.

  • Johnson & Associates has been providing engineering design services for residential developments in Alabama since 1986. Our goal is to design residential areas that enhance the quality of life for the community while respecting the environment. J&A works directly with our clients to optimize subdivision layouts in order to ensure efficient utilization of the property while minimizing construction costs and environmental impacts.

  • We support our clients through the many phases of producing site development plans for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. We assist in obtaining the necessary permits and approvals for design and construction. From schools to churches, hospitals, retail centers, industrial warehouses, and many other facilities, J&A has a proven track record of helping our clients meet site development goals.

  • Stormwater management is a critical component of many projects therefore we are proud to offer Hydrologic and Hydraulic Engineering services using our experience and expertise to make recommendations for solutions that make the environment a priority. We have provided designs for local developments as well as regional retention/detention lakes. We have also assisted cities and various clients with design solutions to mitigate flooding of streets and homes.

  • J&A has the expertise to assist in all of your projects’ traffic engineering needs. We perform Traffic Impact Studies and Analyses for both private and public entities. Our engineering team works with our clients to understand their needs, recognize and/or predict future problems, and recommend needed improvements to optimize traffic flow and safety.
